About last night with Zeus and Mel

So, i'm standing on the corner of 46th street in Manhattan, wondering if maybe Melanie and Zeus played a trick on me or not. Maybe they will just let me stand there waiting for them and they won't show? Nah, it's only 6:45pm, I still have time.
Then it starts getting very warm and the skies begin to open. People begin to run in haste and fear, unsure as to what is happening! But, I know what's going on....Zeus has appeared!!

I see him crossing the street and heading right for me, somehow he recognizes me, he calls my name, "Bobby." Maybe he has great powers (or saw my pics on TF lol). We begin to talk a bit. Then he looks passed me and smiles at something. As I turn to see what he is smiling at, there she is, Melanie. She and I hug and say hello and she does the same with Zeus. I have to say, whether in Thailand or NYC, Thai ladies seem to be even prettier in person, and Mel is no exception...she's beautiful.

We walk up the block to her resturant and get a table. We have alot of chit chat about ourselves and of course TF. At some point Mel asks us what we want to eat. Zeus of course wants something very spicy, but I tell her that if I eat something spicy I will begin to weep like a child (I can't handle spicy!). Mel's solution to this problem is that the resturant has alot of water, gee, thanks Mel!

Of course Anny sweeties has told Mel ahead of time to get me to eat something very spicy :O (thanks Anisa, i'll remember that when I see you krup hahaha). Mel also informs me that she knows I don't eat pork?

The food was very good actually as was the conversation. I knew I made a good choice to meet them. After a while, I proudly got up and told them to check this out. I went over to my coat and pulled out my just purchased disposable camera! How clever I was to have a camera to take pictures, right? But, nooooooooooooooooooooooo, Melanie has to show me up by pulling out some kind of supersonic intergallactic photo-tacking machine :O. Then to make things worse, she has to show me how to work my camera anyway....so much for clever!

Zeus and Mel start having some cocktails, and as usual, I have my coffee ^_^.....Mel suggests that we move to a bar (pub), do I see a party animal here?? lol. So, we walk up the block to this Irish place with live music. Really cool place! Zeus had us laughing and we just had a really good time, alot of stories and alot of gossip lol.

After we decided to leave, some of us had to go to work soon, Zeus and I took Mel home with the promise that we would all do this again. Zeus and me walked to the train station laughing about comedians and there skits. His station came up, we wished each other well and he parted. I noticed that when he got off the train, it became alot colder? Can't explain that really lol.

All in all, we had a complete blast and I think I was very lucky to have the opportunity to meet these 2 people!! I look forward to hanging out again guys ^_^

The moral of this journal really is: If you live in or around NYC, shoot one of us an e-mail or message...let's get this TF New York chapter meetup going strong!!
